Audrey’s Little Cajun Mansion first opened its doors in 1995. Audrey since, joined her twin sister 'Maudrey',
whose currently deceased and had earlier started her own bed and breakfast 'Chez Maudrey', in 1988. Audrey had
worked for the Terrebonne Parish School system as; a French, Spanish and English teacher. While Maudrey, whose
passion was cooking, worked in the culinary arts field. For many years, we both served dinner partly for our bed & breakfast lodgers. Today, we still provide (but only), a full breakfast for all our scheduled guests. Audrey has three bedrooms and three bathrooms for her guests. Maudrey has a total of 4 bedrooms and four bathrooms for her guests. They grew up on a cotton farm in Lafayette, South Central Louisiana. They have 540 nieces and nephews as they are now great, great, great aunts. The Babineaux Clan meets every two years usually in the month of October.
